saint lucia Elizabeth & James Sep 27, 2007 1:29 PM Mary-Kate and Ashley’s newest clothing line, Elizabeth and James, is named after Lizzie and their older brother James “Trent” Olsen. The fashion moguls insisted that the concept of their designs has been taken from a boy and girl relationship. "We wanted it to be based on a relationship between a young girl and a boy and tell the story through the clothing" Olsens told Women's Wear Daily magazine. It’s been such an amazing collaboration between us and our partner Jane Siskin. Some of my favorite pieces are the Sequined Dress, Shrunken Blazer and the Super Skinny Pants. Ashley’s favorites include the Cocktail Jumpsuit, Bonfire Shirt and the Super Skinny Pants. Ashley and I focus on fit, fabrics and shape for the entire collection, selecting fabric, trims, buttons, zippers and patterns to create the best look and feel for each style. We have completed the Fall, Holiday and Resort collections and are working on Spring now.
